The way people spend is changing, and so is The Royal Mint. Anne Jessopp, CEO of The Royal Mint, will explore how Britain’s oldest company forged an exciting future rooted in its heritage.

Over the last three years this 1,100 year old business has successfully expanded into new markets and attracted new customers whilst retaining its traditional focus. Once famous for making UK coins, it is now on a journey to become famous as ‘The Original Maker’.

Anne will discuss her route to becoming a CEO, the challenges she has faced, and how she has led the business to adapt to the ever-evolving business world in which we live today.

Technocamps’ WiST events are aimed at women in the technology sector (or with a keen interest in the industry) to learn from other inspirational women and network with like-minded people. All events are entirely free thanks to funding support from the Welsh Government’s European Social Fund.

This event will take place via Zoom between 11.30am-1pm on Friday 21st January. The lunchtime session will provide an opportunity to hear from our speaker, ask any questions you have and network with like-minded people in a relaxed forum.
