Computer Science
The BSc degree in Applied Software Engineering is an exciting and innovative way for individuals to gain a degree in Software Engineering, whilst in employment.
The course combines traditional academic learning with work-based learning, making it easy to apply new knowledge and skills into the work place environment.
The programme covers a broad spectrum of content including: Programming and Software Development; Algorithms and Databases; Mobile and Web App Development; and Computer Security.
Advanced Manufacturing and Engineering
Swansea University in partnership with Coleg Cambria in North Wales has been delivering degree apprenticeships since their launch in 2018. The BEng in Aeronautical and Manufacturing Engineering and the BEng in Advanced Manufacturing Engineering aim to provide individuals in relevant fulltime employment with the knowledge and skills needed to enable businesses to embrace a rapidly changing manufacturing environment.
The courses combine academic study, informed by industry-focused international research, with learning in the work place that will allow individuals to practically apply this learning as part of their day to day role.
Management
As one of the UK’s leading providers of management, finance and economic programmes, the School of Management can help you unlock the full potential of your workforce and enhance the capabilities of your organisation. The University offers a Foundation Degree (FdSc) in Applied Business Management, with a BSc (Hon) articulation (top up) year, a programme offered to individuals in full time employment. With modules designed to focus on learning outcomes, it offers flexibility to employers and students from all sectors so that the workplace and learning experience are practically and professionally linked.
