Join us for an online STEM careers event for all LGBTQ+ and curious/questioning young people aged 11-16.
Speakers will include members of the LGBTQ+ community working in STEM, academia and studying at University, as well as a guest talk and Q&A with Mark Etheridge, the curator of the Wales is… Proud exhibition currently on display at St Fagan’s Museum of Welsh Life, which looks at the history and culture of LGBTQ+ people in Wales.
This event will allow anonymous attendance, will be a safe space for those in the LGBTQ+ community to listen to role models in STEM talk about their experiences and careers, and for the audience to ask questions.
The event will be held via Teams on Wednesday 1st March, between 1-3pm.
