For many of us, 2021 will be a year of fresh starts and achieving more than we did in 2020.
The last 9 months have pulled us all into crisis, be that linked directly or indirectly to Covid-19. Individually and collectively, we have faced a series of challenges rocking our stability and, in some cases, throwing us into unpredictable and uncomfortable situations.
When the axis that we have built our sense of confidence on shifts, how can we become comfortable with being uncomfortable! In this talk we explore some of the learnings and methods that can help you adjust and thrive regardless of uncertainty.
In this luncthime talk on 22nd January, we will welcome Hayley Wienszc from Red Hat who will cover how to feel more confident in your abilities at work, how to overcome Imposter Syndrome and how to be heard.
With over 25 years of experience in IT, Hayley has held senior positions in several organisations, managed her own business, served as a school governor and Trustee for a charity, and holds an Outstanding Service to Education Award. The Open Schools Coding Competition embraces her passion for creating opportunities for young people with her experience in IT.
This event is open to women from any professional background, especially those who have a keen interest in technology and wish to learn from other inspirational women within the technology sector.
Our aim is to bring together like-minded women to build strong and supportive networks.
