Following on from the success of the virtual training sessions we ran during lock down for Primary schools’ teachers we are pleased to be able to offer a full programme of support to Primary schools’ teachers from the end of September through to 2021.
These free CPD sessions will be run all through the school year with the opportunity to enrol on the programme at the beginning of each school term. The aim of these sessions is to improve teachers’ knowledge of Computer Science and Computational Thinking, apply these skills in the classroom and strategically across their school. The CPD programme links with the DCF and works across the new AoLEs of the new curriculum.
By participating in this program, a Teacher will gain Technocamps recognition as a ‘Technocamps Certified Teacher’, or a School can achieve ‘Technocamps Certified School’ status at the level of Bronze, Silver, or Gold.
Individual awards will be based on the completion of the 2020-2021 Technocamps Teacher Training (CPD) programme by individual teachers. School awards will recognise the schools’ commitment to digital upskilling and the reflect the number of teachers that have completed the programme in a school. Sessions are run from 2-4pm to reflect a personal and school commitment to digital advancement.
