In the blink of an eye, the world became digital. We can speak to people from across the world as if they’re in the same room, and share pictures, music and information online. The digital world is a fantastic place to live, but we need to keep our information safe and private…

Join us and NDEC (the National Digital Exploration Centre) at the University of South Wales as we crack codes and learn about cyber security techniques that keep your private information private and keep us safe when surfing the web. We’ll look at how we can hide information in plain sight, send messages in private and decrypt secret messages as we hunt for clues and compete for prizes across the USW Treforest campus. Our Code Camp is running for three days on the 10th, 12th and 13th of August and is open to students aged 11-13 (Years 7 & 8). The day starts at 9.45am and runs until 3.00pm. Note: activities are the same across all three days.
