Scratch

Scratch is a colourful, user friendly, free software package, designed with learning and education in mind.

With Scratch, you can program your own games and animations, and share your creations with people all over the world.

Scratch incorporates the basics of computer science and, more importantly, has a “fun factor” with the use of sound, imagery and editing tools.

Scratch helps young people to ‘think creatively, work collaboratively, and reason systematically’ and allows them to learn about the importance of clear, concise, well sequenced instructions for the computer to interpret
