Technocamps at the Urdd National Eisteddfod 2018

Technocamps are running a stall at the 2018 National Eisteddfod Yr Urdd at the Royal Welsh Showgrounds in Builth Wells all half-term week. Come and find us in the South Glamorgan building opposite the main Pavilion. You'll find us in the GwyddonLe along with other stalls from Swansea University Departments all about fun and interesting Science topics! 


If you'd like to programme robots or solve challenging computational thinking problems come and find us between 9:30am and 4pm!

Thirty Eight Teachers from across Wales celebrate achieving their (QCF) Level 3 Certificate of Computing for Teachers.

Funding for a Swansea University led programme that will encourage youngsters to learn about Computer Science and its related STEM subjects has been announced by the Welsh Government Minister for Welsh Language and Lifelong Learning, Eluned Morgan.

Thanks to funding, secured by Prof Andrew Ware, Technocamps, supported by First Campus, hosted a two night residential event for Year 12 pupils from across South East Wales.

Starting in the Autumn term 2018, Technocamps will once again offer a free opportunity for teachers to up-skill in computer science.
